Changes in the 2018 version of the ISO 31000 standard

Since 2009, there is (finally) one international risk management standard called ISO 31000 which applies all to sectors, industry and type of risks. Translated in 23 languages and adopted as national risk management standard by 76 countries, the ISO 31000 is a strong foundation to put in place a risk management program in your organisation. It helps to make the link between risk, objectives, decision-making, performance and best allocations of resources.

This presentation will present in details the changes made in the 2018 version with recommendations on what you should emphasize, what you should keep from the 2009 version and what are the aspects to watch out for. The 2018 version opens the possibility to assess your risk management program using the risk maturity level developed by experts from the G31000 Risk Institute.
